Terms and Conditions
- For each type of currency being exchanged, Euro Coin Exchange will apply the applicable rate posted on our web site as of 9:00 a.m. (Eastern time) on the day your coins are received in our office. In the event Euro Coin Exchange posts an exchange rate which is valid through a specific date (for example, as an advertised Special Promotion), that rate will be honored provided the postmark (or other proof of shipping date) is on or before the expiration date of the offer.
- Euro Coin Exchange will only be responsible for currency after it is received by us. Risk of loss, for any reason, shall remain with the customer prior to delivery to us. WARNING: Do not mail loose coins in a plain paper envelope — the envelope will tear and your coins will get lost!
- Euro Coin Exchange reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to return any currency to the customer and to charge the customer a reasonable fee to cover return postage. The postage charge may be deducted from the currency being returned. We do not charge for postage to return rejected bank notes.
- Euro Coin Exchange reserves the right to reject and dispose of coins which are not listed as “Coins We Buy” on our website or which we reasonably determine to be non-negotiable. Such coins include currency which has been demonetized by the issuing authority, pre-Euro currency of E.U. countries (e.g., marks or lira, regardless of whether such coins may be exchanged for Euros at that country’s central bank), smaller denomination coins issued by countries for which we only buy certain larger denominations, currency issued by countries other than those listed on our web site, and coins which are damaged, excessively dirty or corroded/tarnished so as to render them unusable. Rejected coins are considered worthless; they will not be returned to the customer and no payment will be made.
- Euro Coin Exchange reserves the right to request proof of a customer’s identity, along with certain other representations and warranties, prior to issuing payment. Euro Coin Exchange endeavors to comply with all applicable Anti-Money Laundering regulations of the United States government, and all transactions shall be governed by those regulations.
- All transactions are subject to dispute resolution through arbitration utilizing the services of net-Arb.com, the online arbitration service.
