Spanish peseta banknotes

Euro Coin Exchange will exchange most Spanish peseta paper money for dollars. Specifically, we buy all Spanish banknotes issued between 1982 and 2001. Pictures of those bills appear below this text.

In addition to Spanish banknotes issued in the 1980′s and 1990′s, we will buy most peseta notes issued since 1939. Because the older notes are often in poor condition, we wish to take this opportunity to remind you that we reserve the right to reject any currency which we feel is unsuitable for exchange. We will return to you any notes which we cannot buy due to their condition, uncertain validity, etc.

Bank notes issued between 1936 and 1939 must be examined by experts from the Banco de España to determine their exchange value. For this reason we will not purchase Spanish banknotes from this period.

We do not buy Spanish pre-euro coins.
