Earthquake/Tsunami Relief for Japan
You can put your leftover foreign currency to work providing aid to disaster victims in Japan.
Did you bring Japanese coins home from a business trip? Did you return from your last vacation with unspent euros or pounds? Have you tried to exchange your foreign coins and found them to be pretty much worthless here in the U.S.?
If you have unwanted foreign coins or bills gathering dust at home, you can turn them into a contribution to aid the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
When you ship your coins to us with instructions to use them to support disaster relief efforts in Japan, Euro Coin Exchange will mail your payment for the coins to the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake Fund. All Japanese coins* we receive will be combined and delivered to the Consulate-General of Japan in Atlanta.
All you need to do is designate your selection on your packing list by entering the Promo Code “JAPAN”.
We will automatically apply the best exchange rate we are currently offering, and will send you confirmation of your donation.
Help spread the word: If you know anyone who might have euros, pounds, yen or Canadian coins left over from a vacation or business trip, let them know how they can put that money to work helping others in desperate need.
*Note: We do not buy Japanese coins. All Japanese coins received by Euro Coin Exchange will be donated to humanitarian relief agencies through the Japanese Consulate. You will not receive any payment for Japanese coins sent to us.
